I received my Bachelor's in Education from Georgia State University in 1998.

I have been working at Ithica Elementary since 2005. I taught Pre-K for two years and then moved to Kindergarten. I really enjoy teaching Kindergarten.  They are so unsure of themselves when they start and they leave here having learned so much. Kindergarten is such a big year for students and teaching them to read and write is such an amazing experience!

I live in Carrollton and have been happily married for 20 years. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters. Hannah, our oldest, is a freshman at UWG and is studying nursing.  Go Wolves! Madi, our youngest, is a sophomore at VRHS and is a part of the Varsity Softball team. We are VR!  We also have a dog, Charlie, that keeps us on our toes!  Spending time with my family and friends is one of my favorite things to do.  I love to read when I have extra time too! I'm one Lucky Ladybug to do what I love at the school I love.

Some of my favorites things include: color-green, drink-coke zero, snack- chocolate or fruit, food- mexican, favorite team- Auburn Tigers (War Eagle), fast food- Chick-fil-A, animal- ladybugs, of course!
