Please make sure your child is reading nightly. The more a child reads the better reader they will become. The IES Reading Log will specify the amount of reading that should be done nightly. As your child reads and completes Accelerated Reader tests we move them up to a higher reading level. Students who read consistently usually make very good gains in their reading levels. Please continue to practice math facts with your child at home. We already are seeing substantial gains in students’ math abilities from where they were a year ago.
