Directions to Ithica Elementary

Whitworth Road is located 3 miles south of I-20 on Hwy. 61 to the left. Currently there is no south bound access to turn onto Whitworth from Hwy. 61. There are 3 options to get to Ithica Elementary:

Go south on Hwy. 61, two miles from I-20, to the traffic light at Bay Springs Rd. and turn left. Proceed .8 miles to a 4-way stop at Daniel Rd. and turn right. Whitworth Rd. will be .5 miles on the right.

Go south on Hwy. 61, four miles from I-20, to Flat Rock Rd. and turn left. Proceed .9 miles to Daniel Rd. and turn left. Whitworth Rd. will be 1 mile on the left.

Go south on Hwy. 61, four miles from I-20, to Flat Rock Rd. and make a U- turn and proceed north on Hwy. 61 1 mile to Whitworth Rd. (we recommend options 1 or 2).

Traffic Flow & Parking at IES

There are two parking areas and entrances into IES. The front or Main parking area is designated for visitors and Car Riders only. The side parking area (by the gym) is designated for Staff Parking and Bus traffic only. We require ALL visitors to check in at the Main office.

Traffic leaving IES must go right on Whitworth Rd. to Daniel Rd. in order to prevent problems and backups at Whitworth Rd and Hwy. 61.
