Carroll EMC selected Amy Thomas, kindergarten teacher, with a $1,000.00 grant. The grant was written to create a “Tiny Town” experience that enables students to become producers and consumers in a pretend business world. Students have to earn money based on their behavior and responsibility. Then students save their money until “Tiny Town” opens. During business hours, students have to run the business set up in their homeroom while their classmates visit and spend the money they have earned.
