Welcome to Ithica Elementary School at Graben-Garrett Farm! We invite you to explore our website and discover the Ithica difference and learn why we call ourselves the IT school!

 

  As an overall school, STEM based 21st century learning is instruction that is provided to every student at Ithica. We have been designated as a Georgia Department of Education Distinguished school eight times for our top 5% performance annually.  This year we received a GaDOE CCRPI rating of a 91 making us one of the few "A" schools in the west Georgia area.  We are also a national recognized school through participation in  the Crayola grant award winner for our emphasis on incorporating art education into our stem based learning and our anticipated National STEM certification completion in 2020! 

 

Our dedicated faculty and staff are passionate about inspiring each student as they celebrate excellence and effort.  This collaborative spirit is contagious, resulting in a school that is characterized by its strong sense of community and warm, nurturing family atmosphere.

At IES, we respect individual learning styles because we know and value every child.  This passion for inspiring each student has produced three County Young Author Winners, one regional Young Georgia Author winner, regional technology champion, academic team champions, road runner champions, Science Olympiad champions, Perennial Math individual winners, reading bowl winners, reading bowl champions, Jr. Beta MVP school, and Jr. Beta school of distinction.
