I received my B.S.ed in Early Childhood Education in 2000 from the University of West Georgia.

I began my teaching career at Sand Hill Elementary School in 2000 and transferred to Ithica Elementary School in 2007.  I have 16 years' teaching experience in the following grade levels: kindergarten (7 years' experience), first grade (5 years' experience), second grade (1 year experience), and fourth grade (3 years' experience).

I live in Villa Rica, Georgia with my husband, Bryant and our two amazing children, Ethan (14) and Eme (6).  When I'm not at school, I can be found spending time with my family, supporting Ethan and Eme in their interests, playing with my pup Milo, looking for new ways/ideas to teach concepts, curled up reading a good book, or cheering on the VR Wildcats or Georgia Bulldogs.
