In August of 2016, she earned her MS degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics from Walden University. In the fall of 2017, Ms. Morris plans to enroll in the doctoral program at Walden University to earn an EdD in Reading Literacy and Assessment.

Ms. Morris is currently in her ninth year of teaching. She has teaching experience in Pre-K, first grade, fourth grade, and is currently one of the Reading/ELA fifth grade teachers.

I began teaching at Ithica Elementary in August of 2014. I am currently one of the two reading/ELA fifth grade teachers. I have nine years of teaching experience, but I have truly enjoyed my time at Ithica teaching students the foundational skills of reading and writing, as well as, the value of these skills as it pertains to their lives. I have one six year old son, Gunner. He is a first grade student here at Ithica, and is involved in football, Tae Kwon Do, and Boy Scouts.
