I graduated from Carrollton High School in 1997.  In 2001, I received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Georgia and in 2011 I received my certification in Special Education from Georgia State University.  I have also been certified in Orton Gilligham Reading Instruction.

I began my teaching career in 2010 as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Mountain Park Elementary School in Roswell, Georgia.  In 2011, I started working as a Special Education Teacher at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School in Atlanta, Georgia and have worked there for the past 8 years.  I am looking forward to working at Ithica Elementary and collaborating with the faculty and staff.

I live in Villa Rica, Georgia with my husband, Chris and our two amazing children, Evan (7) and Julia (2).  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending festivals/events in downtown Villa Rica, reading books, being outdoors and traveling.
