Emily Sanders

Hi! My name is Emily Sanders, and I am SO excited to be back as an Ithica Titan! I completed my student teaching here during the 2019-2020 school year, and it is a great feeling to be back with my Titan family. I have received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of West Georgia in Special Education. I learned at a young age that I have a passion for teaching Special Education and I love every minute of it! When I am at school, you can usually find me dancing my way down the hallway or sitting in the floor reading books and doing math problems with my favorite humans, my students!

I grew up in Douglasville, but now I live in Villa Rica and love the small town feel where I can have my own space but still be close to the people that I love so dearly! When I am not at school, you can find me spending time with my family, playing with my fur baby, Baxter, reading a good book, creating new recipes to cook, and spending as much time as possible outside. I love fishing, camping, and being outside enjoying the sunshine to relax!
