Hello Titans!  My name is Erin Durham and I am proud to be one of your School Counselors!  I am a graduate of the University of West Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Criminology and master’s degree in Professional Counseling.  I have 10 years of experience in mental health in various capacities and roles from being an expressive therapist and a program lead in a partial hospitalization program for 3 of those years.  I have experience in working with children, adolescents, adults and families.  

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor.  As a school counselor at Ithica Elementary School, I provide services to all students grades pre-k through 5th grade.  My goals are to support students in developing tools for academic success, providing them with opportunities for social and emotional growth, and encouraging them to become aware of careers in our local community.  Ithica’s Comprehensive School Counseling Program provides services that are aligned with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors for Student Success.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, Greg, our son, Joseph and daughter, Gianna.  We enjoy traveling, going to the beach and hiking.   We love movie nights and having dance parties!  One of my favorite things to do is cooking and baking delicious treats.
