I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 2002 from Florida Gulf Coast University.

This is my 19th year of teaching. All 19 years have been here in Carroll County. I taught at Temple Elementary for 5 years and the last 14 years have been as an Ithica Titan. I have taught 5 years in fourth grade, half a year in second grade, 5 years in third grade and this is my 7th year in kindergarten. 

I live in Temple, Georgia with my 13-year-old son, Ricky.  He sure does keep me busy with all of his extracurricular activities. He is involved in middle school football, soccer, honor chorus, and junior beta. We love our church, Villa Rica First United Methodist, where we both are very active. My son is on the youth council and sings in the youth praise band. I volunteer in the kitchen for our Jam and youth on Wednesday nights, a member of the UMW, Children's council and volunteer with By His Hands We Are Fed summer lunch program.  We love watching college football! We have a divided household between the Florida Gators and Alabama Crimson Tide. We also have two fur babies, Buster and Diamond.
