Julia Purinton

Hello! My name is Julia Purinton and I am thrilled to teach third grade here at IES. I previously taught lower grades (K/1) in a different county, but my heart has always been at Ithica. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia and am also Gifted certified. I am married to my very best friend and we have two children, Analiese and Gavin, who both attended IES for all of their elementary school years. They are now with their dad at BSMS. When I’m not teaching, you will find me with my family traveling and seeing new places. We love to explore and make memories together. Teaching is my passion and I’m super excited to be doing IT now as a Titan!
