Bio

    I have been been teaching for 13 years and have loved every minute. I have taught kindergarten for 5 years, first grade for 6 years and second grade for 2 years. 

I have a B.S. Ed., from University of West Georgia and M.Ed., from Walden University. Teaching and working with children has always been a passion for me. Teaching could never be just a job, it is about touching the lives of each child and instilling a love of learning. I work daily to inspire my students to be their best at everything they do.
    I am married to Kevin Nave and I have an 19 year old step-daughter, and a 10 year old daughter, Riley. Bri is attending UGA and Riley is a fifth grader here at Ithica. Riley loves sports and drama performances and she keeps us busy with extracurricular activities. I enjoy going to church and spending time with my family as well as reading, decorating and doing craft projects.
